A few years ago, in talking with some of my "Movie, Music, and other Recording Artist Type Friends" (including some good folks during my short "Hollywood, California, USA Tour" before I left the "Movie Business") it came apparent that the #1 reason most do NOT publicly produce their "Art Work" is because of lack of funding.




Now, as an "Accomplished" Movie Maker (Fly Now! 2015 produced by Amazon), TV Producer (Fly Now! TV Network), Stunt Pilot (includes having 3 Aviation World Records for Speed and being on NBC and other "Major News" outlets on a local, regional, national and also international level all before "The Movie" was made...probably my last).  Anyway, I now am more fully realizing I am and was somewhat of a Maverick who did NOT worry too much about "Funding" and #JustDidIt instead of waiting for someone's permission or some one else's funding...even though I am NOT a Billionaire...I simply "cobbled" things together and accepted things that were given to me (like "Mike the Master Mechanic" expert assistance as he balanced my little Race Plane's Propeller and spinner [a prop can be thought of as analogous [similar] to a car's transmission] on "Beans" before our last World Record - a $1,000 Value or "Tricky" Steve Morley [a former NASCAR Engine Man] who rebuilt the engine - an $8,000 Value - both at ZERO cost to our project...and of course "Director J.L. Wilson and I did Fly Now! The Reality Aviation Documentary [a FIRST] on a shoestring budget)...



I now realize MOST people are NOT Mavericks...thus the meaning of the word... 

"An Unorthodox or Independent-minded person" 


Now I did NOT ask to have a "Maverick Brain" or be made or "developed" by great parents and mentors like I am, yet we ALL are made who we are and to try and change our "core nature" is kinda fruitless...  Because "Eagles are Eagles and, well, Sheep are Sheep"...and both can try to act like the other, yet at the end of the day one is still a "Flying High Eagle" and the other is still a "Follow the Leader Sheep."  In other words (as my Dad AND some others said before him);

"You can put lipstick on a Pig Son, yet it's still a Pig...and Pigs don't Fly...unless a Pilot takes them up for a Flight!"  

Though ANY-one can learn virtually ANY-thing, some people ARE simply "made" with certain physical and mental abilities that make them "Natural Leaders" and some are better at being "Sheep" or simple followers.  That's 100% cool and ESPECIALLY after living back in Thailand for another 6 + months I see that the Universe has an amazing function for every living creature that is vital to all other beings.  Thankful, I've also am learning to "Slow Down" a bit and live a more calm and modest life...for that is key in Dr. Albert Einstein's most important Theory...no NOT the "Theory of Relativity" yet instead his lesser known "Theory of Happiness" 




The above letter, written in German on hotel stationary and given to a hotel staff member because he did not have money for a tip, says (translated) "A calm and humble life will bring more happiness than the pursuit of success and the current restlessness that comes with it."  

Thankfully, I have NO "fame" and do NOT ever want any - I desire only to lead a simple and modest life - maybe that is one reason I reside mostly in Thailand in my "retirement" (Ba-Ha-Ha!  WE SHOULD NEVER retire until we stop breathing air!) 

<ANYway we "Mavericks" can learn a LOT from those who are more "Orthodox and Dependent" > 

For "Those Other People" (often VERY smart, kind, and accomplished) simply work (literally vibrate in a metaphysical Energy sense) at a different Frequency then us "Crazy" Mavericks -- it's perhaps a low hum that is there to simply ensure the survival of the person, their next generation, and NOT to disturb the energy flow of the other creatures around them too much.  That's nice to consider.

So after my little Personal Energy Diatribe... 

"What to Do About this Challenge" or How do we help others who Wait for Funding?  

Well, the idea was to 1st just "park" and later create the website: WaitingForFunding.com (Mission Accomplished!) where people could, kinda like yet MUCH better than, some other "Virtual Funding Websites," that are out there already...

Yet "our website" would be different in ONE BIG WAY...

1. It would be focused on Charity or Non-Profit Groups #1  
2. All Artists (of all flavors, types, and styles) #2 
3. Lastly, Grad Students (including PhD candidates) can apply/use the WaitingForFunding.com concept to help fund their Educational goals.  
3a.  However, we would ask that any Education Grants acknowledge the known fact that too many people in "Academia" suffer from "Academic Myopia" (defined as their own [learned from their peer group] short-sightedness of thinking that often the PhD path REQUIRES them to stay inside a college or University - DESPITE the FACT that a person with a PhD or Masters can make more money delivering Pizza, being a Plumber, or other "Hands On Work" than being a Slave to some other person in the Academic Microcosm.  

It is a Truth that Life is what we make of it, even though it can be tough and kinda suck sometimes, yet it is UP TO US to make it better, NOT suck so bad, and to accomplish our "DREAMS" >>> PLUS WE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER that: 

"A Goal is simply a Dream with a Timeline" 

Bottom-line, YOUR Life's Success is "Up to U" and despite your talk of what U are "gonna do" the MOST important thing is WHAT U do... So, "We Will See" what U do....
